Day 1 – Meet School at 1pm. Depart and travel
Day 2 – Exploration, introduction and Tramway du Mont Blanc
Day 3 – Aguille de midi and Mer de Glace. Ice Caves at Mer de Glace
Day 4 – Chamonix and St Gervais comparison, in terms of Tourism, town development and impacts on a glaciated landscape.
Day 5 – Annecy. History, tourism, possible urban transect and scope to explore.
Day 6 – Bossons Glacier. Look at Glacier movement, debris and vegetation impacts.
Day 7 – Le Bettex – visit to mountain viewpoint and summary of all topics. Depart Hotel and travel.
Day 8 – Arrive School 11am approx.
